New York, February 8 (AP) 10 coaches of a freight train carrying edible oil and plastic pellets derailed in America's New York state

Out of which two coaches have fallen into the river

Officials said the 94-car freight train derailed in the Village of Valley Falls in Rensselaer County at around 10:15 pm local time on Wednesday

County officials said it was a Norfolk Southern train, which is operated by Berkshire Eastern Railroad

Berkshire Eastern spokesman Tom Ciuba said Thursday that no one was injured in the accident and there was no leakage of any hazardous material.

Two containers fell into the Hoosik River, one of which leaked a small amount of edible oil, while the other container leaked a small amount of plastic resin and spread into the river.”
